I have a X220 4286CTO (now getting old along with me) that came with Intel SSD and i7 cpu, laptop not tablet.
X220 is not officially supported for Windows 10. At first I let MS install the upgrade and things did not work well. I tried running the Lenovo tools and that destroyed it. Lost fingerprint, and generally erratic behavior. I reformatted the C: drive and installed W10 from iso downloaded in April 2016. It now appears to be working OK, including fingerprint scanner.
Base System Device Windows 10 Acer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 64-bit, but now I am unable to update these drivers. First 3 say 'Base System Device', whose IDs are. Make sure you install the drivers for the correct operating system. For example, if you're using Windows 10 64-bit, install the drivers designed for that specific version of Windows. Many of these errors are caused by attempting to install the wrong drivers for a device.
However, the Device Manager shows that a Base System Device drive failed to install. Further investigation shows this to be about the Kernel level PnP Device Configuration.
Base System Driver Windows 10 64
Does anyone know what this is about? Could it be the PC card driver - which I don't use currently.
