Base System Driver Windows 10

I have a X220 4286CTO (now getting old along with me) that came with Intel SSD and i7 cpu, laptop not tablet.
X220 is not officially supported for Windows 10. At first I let MS install the upgrade and things did not work well. I tried running the Lenovo tools and that destroyed it. Lost fingerprint, and generally erratic behavior. I reformatted the C: drive and installed W10 from iso downloaded in April 2016. It now appears to be working OK, including fingerprint scanner. Base

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 64-bit, but now I am unable to update these drivers. First 3 say 'Base System Device', whose IDs are. Make sure you install the drivers for the correct operating system. For example, if you're using Windows 10 64-bit, install the drivers designed for that specific version of Windows. Many of these errors are caused by attempting to install the wrong drivers for a device.


However, the Device Manager shows that a Base System Device drive failed to install. Further investigation shows this to be about the Kernel level PnP Device Configuration.
