- 002 and 003 work fine with mac or pc. Ive got a buddy with the 002 an he rocks a macbook pro with 10.something osx. I use a 002r with my imac with 10.5.8 (atleast) and it works fine. The 003 will work. The only difference between the 002r and the 003r is the 003 has BNC word clock I/O. I would get the 002 controller. Motorized faders are much nicer for vocal riding and other automation than.
- Sep 08, 2018 I had a Digi 002 (rack) working with Logic X & Sierra with no issues. The issue might be High Sierra, which is not officially supported (according to Avid's release notes). Some people have however managed to get 003's working successfully with HS, so in theory no reason why the 002 shouldn't (as they share the same driver).
Hi All
I hate to beat a dead horse, but I am hoping to get some really answers to anyone who has successfully connected the Digi 002 to Logic Pro X. I have switched from Pro-tools to Logic for reasons that Im sick and tired of having to be forced to update not only the software but the hardware itself. By switching, I am hoping that I can incorporate the Digi 002 for another few years or more.
The Digi 002 Rack supplied for review included the 2U hardware unit, CD installers for both Mac and PC, a printed Getting Started manual and a 12-foot, 6-pin to 6-pin Firewire cable.
I have done some research and attempted to download drivers from the Avid Family 003 drivers but after the installation, I launched it but gave me some issues reporting that it could not find the hardware. So I reaching out to the community for answers.
These are my Mac specs:
Running High Sierra version 10.13.5
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)
Processor 2.3 Intel Core i7
Memory 8 GB
Thanks
DJ

Hi,I'm pretty new to Live so hope someone can help.
I recently got a Digi 002 but cannot get Live to recognize it in the audio preferences.
I'm running it on a new MacBook Pro with the most recent OSx 10.6.4 and Live 8.1.5
Digi 002 Rack Drivers For Mac
I do not have Pro Tools so am just using the Digi 002 as an audio interface. I downloaded the most recent Digi CoreAudio Driver for use with third party DAWs and it's been recognized by my MacBook Pro in the audio preferences but does not come up as an option in Live.I've made sure the Digi CoreAudio Manager is connected before starting up Live and I've checked that the Digi 002 is not the default audio device in the Audio Midi setup as mentioned in the troubleshooting FAQ. I've reinstalled the driver too to no effect.

I have a Line6 Toneport that works fine with Live but just cannot get the Digi 002 to show up.
